Maddison River Tubing Co.
I send this email to object to the proposed Madison River Tubing Development at the corner of Fallon St and
Laramie Drive. The parking study prepared by the owner who is also the developer, is completely inadequate and
tainted by his motivation and his own self interest. It is clear that their statement that most patrons meet the tour
boats at the river is false and completely misleading. Otherwise, why would they need 3 large buses. We therefore
know that the proposed site parking of 15 vehicles is woefully inadequate and will spill into adjacent neighborhoods
leading to serious parking shortages and significant traffic congestion.
The proposed use requires buses, kayaks, and boats to be stored on site that classifies the proposed development as
light industrial and not at all comparable with the current business
park zoning.
This project is a travesty's to the neighborhood and is completely antithetical to the intent of the original
entitlements envisioned when the master plan was originally approved. We urge the City of Bozeman Planning to
take a step back and realize that the proposal project should be DENIED as not appropriate for the zoning or
location and does not serve our community.
