Read-Only Content Full Name Jeffrey Dineen Email jeffrey.r.dineen@gmail.com Phone Comments • As a resident of the Bozeman community, I’m writing to urge city government to prioritize the safety and protection of all citizens during upcoming Pride celebrations. Every individual in this community, regardless of gender, race, religion, political affiliations, or sexual orientation, deserves to participate in community events without fear of physical harm. I urge you to implement comprehensive security measurements, including presence of city paid law enforcement, at Pride celebration events to help ensure a safe environment for all. After bomb threats were recently sent to local LGBTQ businesses, a Bozeman Daily Chronicle article quoted the following statement from the Bozeman city manager, city commission, and police department: “we stand committed to protecting our community, especially those of the LGBTQ+ community, so everyone feels safe to celebrate”. Please follow through on that commitment.
