Your membership makes you part of work for fast, frequent, and affordable train service, connecting
communities large and small into a revitalized nationwide network.
The High Speed Rail Alliance believes in a national program to expand train service throughout the
country—a program that uses the power of networks to build volume and value beyond the sum of
individual "corridors." Individual states cannot do this alone.
The United States recently provided billions of dollars for passenger trains and has given the Federal
Railroad Administration and states the tools and funding needed to build better tracks, add more
departures, and deploy state-of-the-ail trains.
Your leadership on this issue will help to continue growing a broad and resilient movement from the
ground up: a geographically, demographically, and ideologically diverse base that can grow momentum
