Greetings! Below are web links to the spring issue of MDT's Newsline and the online commenting tool for
proposed projects. This Newsline issue contains the draft 2024-2028 Statewide TransportationImprovement Program (STIP), which is available for public comment until June 15, 2024. This listincludes projects anticipated to be awarded for construction during the timeframe of this STIP.
Although the projects and dates in the STIP are official MDT objectives, the execution of this program iscontingent on many factors including federal and state funding availability, right-of-way acquisition, utilityrelocations, environmental review, surveying and design. In some cases, projects will not cross into new
phases in the timeframe of the STIP, so they won’t be listed in the document, but project development is
still underway. While this issue of the Newsline focuses on District projects, the full draft STIP is availableonline and includes statewide aeronautic, rail crossing, highway, public transportation, and Federal LandsHighway Program projects.
