into the Montana Department of Commerce's Montana Main Street Program. Bozeman
demonstrated meeting the membership requirements in the Montana Main Street Program
Guidelines—such as demonstrating a collaborative local effort and success with previous
downtown projects—illustrating that your community is well-positioned to implement further
revitalization efforts.
The Montana Main Street Program, as a National Main Street Center Coordinating Program, is
part of a powerful, grassroots network of communities across the country committed to
creating high-quality places and building stronger communities through historic preservation-
based economic development.The Montana Main Street Program assists communities in
revitalizing and strengthening downtown commercial districts by offering technical assistance
and competitive grant funding to its member communities to implement local vision.
We look forward to working with you, the City of Bozeman, the Downtown Bozeman
Partnership, and other community groups to successfully assist with projects that improve
economic, historic, and cultural vitality in Bozeman's unique downtown district.
