Learn more about resources to fund affordable housing developments, and hear about new legislation and housing sector topics. Additionally, Montana experts can help your team find new, creative ways to produce and sustain additional housing units. During the May 9 meeting, attendees will hear informational updates from Nathan Bilyeu of Jackson, Murdo & Grant, P.C. on Tax Increment Financing (TIF). Additionally, we will hear from Bozeman Mayor Terry Cunningham and Fort Benton Mayor Lanny Walker regarding their experiences with Tax Increment Financing. The QAP is intended to ensure the selection of those developments which best meet the most pressing housing needs of Montanans in accordance with the guidelines and requirements established by the federal government and the requirements, considerations, factors, limitations, criteria and priorities established by the Montana Board of Housing. The Montana Board of Housing hosts a series of QAP workshops each year to identify areas for possible revision or updates in partnership with affordable housing developers and other interested stakeholders.
