The Montana Departments of Commerce and Public Health and Human Services invite you to participate in the 2024 Montana Fair Housing Survey. Responses will be used to develop Montana’s Equity Plan, which will inform the State’s 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for housing and community development. The survey, which takes 10 minutes to complete, will help the State assess access to housing, understand barriers to access and mitigate any barriers identified. Take Survey Here The State of Montana, through the Departments of Commerce and Public Health and Human Services, is developing an Equity Plan to assess fair housing issues and their underlying causes, set fair housing goals and outline strategies for achieving equity in housing. This plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to affirmatively further fair housing and is part of the State’s efforts to take proactive and meaningful action to overcome patterns of segregation, promote fair housing choice, eliminate disparities in opportunities and foster inclusive communities free from discrimination.
