Sunshine and I discussed this last week. Streamline is supportive of the installation of the shelter for the stop between 8th and 9th on Mendenhall. They are not aware of any concerns from the adjacent properties. As you noted, the project is responsible for procuring and installing the shelter. Streamline will then take ownership and will assume the maintenance. We will want to confirm details related to the shelter orientation and concrete pad design and specific location as it relates to drive accesses and street trees. I will work with Simon to get you some specifics on this topic. Hi Sunshine, I spoke with Taylor last week about upgrading the stream line bus stop on Mendenhall between 8th & 9th avenues with a shelter and was wondering if you would be able to provide written support from
Streamline that you support it as an addition to the exi sting Purple Line bus stop? Our understanding is
that the shelter would be provided and purchased as part of our mixed-use multifamily project (which
includes affordable housing units) on the corner of M endenhall and 8th, but would be maintained by
Streamline. To remind you, you already provided us with the model & specification for the recommended shelter which we will begin procuring upon receiving your support.
