It appears that the ordinance is not being followed and I would like to know why. Specifically
pertaining to this part of the ordinance:
3. Manner: a. All camp facilities and their immediate area must be maintained in a clean andorderly manner. A clean and orderly manner includes, but is not limited to, all waste, debris
and trash must be in a container and personal items, when not actively being used, must bestored inside a camp facility. b. No waste, sewage, debris, trash, personal items, or additional
vehicles or trailers may be discarded of or stored in the right of way. c. No fires are permittedwithin the public right-of-way. d. Only generators rated not to exceed 60 decibels are
permitted to be operated on the right-of-way. Generators must be stored and located on apaved surface. Fuel must be in containers designed for the fuel stored therein. e. Camping on
the paved surface of any street in a tent, tarp, or in only sleeping bags, blankets, or otherrudimentary forms of protection from the elements, is prohibited. f. No structures may be
built or maintained on the public right-of-way pursuant to 34.02.050.
There is garbage and crap everywhere. They are having fires and bbq's and just wait until theweather is consistently nicer. There are broken down cars, ladders, trash is overflowing and all
around the campers. You are enabling this behavior when providing garbage cans and portapotties, what will be next? Mailboxes? I have yet to see any tickets be issued and campers
moved according to this ordinance also. Nothing is orderly about any of these campers, whatare you doing to enforce this ordinance?
