The prices quoted are outrageous for a studio/1 bedroom. 1400+ is not affordable for a good majority of people in the Gallatin county area. We have a growing problem with homelessness and instead of making actual affordablehousing, we are getting projects like the Guthrie where a place with zero amenities, zero parking, and a hot plate for cooking is going for 1400+. If places such as fast food restaurants are paying 20$ an hour that averages out to 3200 amonth not factoring tax. Not factoring in groceries, car payments, health insurance or god forbid a small pleasantry once in a blue moon. This project being named "affordable" is laughable. It will directly contribute to the risinghousing and rent costs in the area. If a studio starts at 1400$ then by the next year the rest of Bozemans housing will jump again. And increase our homeless population again. This will not help alleviate the housing issue and will cause the food banks line to grow larger. James B. Get Outlook for Android
