Hello,
This is Becky Parker (address: 425 N. 4th Avenue).
I dislike many aspects of the Guthrie proposal, namely:
1) Inadequate parking for the number of units
It is UNLAWFUL for the builder to get a leniency on parking. The Guthrie residents/guests
will be parking their vehicles on nearby streets, which will in turn negatively impact all nearbyresidences. We NEED the on-street parking at our house as many of our neighbors do as well.
Has UNDERGROUND PARKING been considered?
2) This is not the right location for such a large number of units.
Being next to a SCHOOL, and traffic congestion is a huge concern. Please find another
location in Bozeman (possibly east main near the demolished car wash), where the streets andinterstate exchange can better handle the increased traffic.
3) Single- and double-occupancy is too LIMITING.
I see the real need in Bozeman to be single-income families, and there will not be many of size
2!! Please consider a better product where the apartments are bigger, without an occupancylimit.
4) Concerns about the SIZE of the units.
This isn't truly affordable. The size of the unit has just been CUT IN HALF, to get the right
profit margin. This is not what residents of Bzoeman want/need.
