State of the Arts: Your Spring 2024 Digital Issue Has Arrived
The Montana Arts Council's Spring 2024 issue of State of the Arts is here! Inside, we're talking about spring, newlife, and growth, and featuring stories such as:
How do artists in traditional crafts grow? By learning from the masters, which is where our Traditional
Arts Apprenticeship program comes in.
Poetry can be a vehicle for personal discovery and growth, and for a group of incarcerated women in
Boulder it's a means of personal freedom as well.
If we're lucky, we never stop expanding our horizons and learning new skills and MAC's creative aging
program is helping older adults engage with poetry, ceramics, pottery and more.
There's a growing number of Indigenous artists using traditional and contemporary methods to storm the
worlds of art, design, and fashion.
Montana recently crowned its newest Poetry Out Loud champion, and she's headed to Washington, DC
in April to compete in nationals.
All these stories and a good deal more await in the latest State of the Arts. Enjoy!
