Holy cow. Where do I start!
First: you obviously don't pay attention to what parking is ALREADY like... My
grandmother's house is on N 9th. Guess what? You have to have parking placards due to thehigh school. Is this a scheme for more money?
Second: according to the MT dept of labor and industry, avg weekly wages in 2024 are
$1034.49, or $53,793.48 for the year. Using the rule of 30% for housing, the MOST someonemaking average wages can pay is 1494.26 a month. Y'all can do math.....right?
Third: a single parent, like myself, might need multiple rooms. Gee. Let me cram kids into 600
square feet, and cook dinner on a freaking HOT PLATE.
Fourth: 30 parking spaces. Are. You. Mad.?????
Meanwhile. In the real world. Y'all left the cities in droves, because you couldn't leave duringthe pandemic. Leave that crap. In. The. Cities.
Do you want me to drag my harvested deer down 7th, with my hunting rifle over my shoulder,
since you want to cut out parking spaces? Or would that hurt feelings? Because a giant numberof us recreate outside city limits.
In fact, my family lives 20 some miles away. This walkability crap seriously needs to stop.
Guess what I haven't noticed at these meetings lately? Yellow tshirts. And Joey voted for this
Guthrie crap.
Well who am I? Deloris Nerlin is my grandmother. If any of you actually are from here, youmight remember her teaching 5th grade at the Wilson. My dad? Roger Nerlin. Yeah, Jennifer.
He knows you were a planner and know better than this. He was on the Gallatin CountyPlanning Board for over 2 decades.
Me? Gee. I just live here. That's heavy sarcasm. I can literally only afford lot rent, living in a
.... Get this- 900 square foot trailer.... With a.... Gasp.... Kitchen, full bedrooms with beds, anda bathroom!
Don't think I haven't noticed what taxes in a trailer are compared to all these developments
you keep pushing. Y'all are money desperate at this point, while forgetting it's on our backsdown here under you.....
I have private parking. Because, as a single parent, I NEED A VEHICLE. I work. My kid is
almost 15 and working/driving age. We hunt in my family. We fish. We camp. We help on the
family ranch that I have to drive to. I also have a yard to garden. Your absolutely horrendousshowing of 87 community garden plots in a town this size..... Why are you here, if you won't
do what you are supposed to be doing??
I pay $650 a month. I make $28 an hour, $1,120 a week, $58,240 a year. I'm NOT paying$1600+ for what ever crap you're trying to peddle. My kid, who will be 18 soon, isn't going to
start out at a job paying enough for $1300 in rent.
Here are some HARD questions for you: who do you think you are? Where the freaking heckare you from? WHOSE POCKETS ARE YOU TRYING TO LINE? And lastly, how stupid do
you think we Bozeman and Montana residents are?????
Affordable. Y'all can take that word you throw around without any actual knowledge of themeaning, and shut the front door with it.
Y'all need to get a grip in reality. Pretend, for like 2 seconds, that you're actually a Montanan
making Montana wages for God's sake!
