Hi City of Bozeman, I'm just catching up on the proposal for the Guthrie and I am shocked that the City continually lets Andy Holloran and HomeBase Partners take advantage of you like this. I understand thepurpose of allowances for affordable housing and I typically agree with them. However, building <400 SF apartments without a proper kitchen and charging $1600/month for them isnot affordable, it is inhuman robbery at best. Housing with dignity should be the crux of the City's affordable housing efforts and this fails to meet that basic standard. Your greed isspilling out at the seams. While I would like to see Bozeman become a much more walkable and bikeable community, the City has invested ZERO dollars or effort into the actual infrastructure to support this. Onlyallowing 30 parking spots for 111 units is an asinine pipe dream. You cannot expect people to bike instead of drive when there are no safety measures in place for them to do so. I suggestthat you take some time to research the Strong Towns movement and invest in their recommendations instead of selling out our town to parasite Andy Holloran. Emphatically against the Guthrie, Whitni Ciofalo, AIA | WELL AP | LEED Green Associate
