Greetings, As a neighboring Midtown resident, I am deeply concerned about the scope of this project having 111 rooms, and a serious lack of parking proposed to accommodate the amount of residents to occupy the proposed building site. This could be 150 parking spots at a minimum required, as it is stated that many are double occupancy rooms. And up to 200 parking spots. Currently there are only 30 to 40 parkingspots max. Where will the overflow parking be located for the extra 160 to 170 vehicles? This should be in the site proposal, and not ignored, as it currently stands. Currently, Whittier Elementary and the Elm, located a block away have inadequate parkingwhich spill over into this location. Where are you proposing the overflow cars to park? On 7th Ave? If not, then where? This needs to be addressed before granting the permit to break ground. It appears to be theelephant in the room that no one wants to address. Twelve years ago we were told we couldn't add a basement apartment to our residence, because our streets had inadequate parking for all local residents by the City of Bozeman. Butfast-forward, now you can suddenly put 111 rooms in one location with no parking garage proposed for the volume of vehicles that will be utilized by the Guthrie residents. Pleaseexplain where these 100 plus vehicles will park? This also proposes grave safety concerns for volume of traffic around Whittier, and lack of oversight by the city to keep the children safe. There is reduced visibility to see childrenbetween parked cars and traffic moving. I'm concerned there will be more children killed because someone's profits are more important than the safety of the children and localresidents. It's not fair to the local residents and the church across the street to accommodate the overflow of parking that WILL be required. It is laughable for this proposal to assume most residentswill be biking or walking to work. You've got to be kidding!! Our winters are long, and very few bike or walk, they must drive more than a mile to and from work. Any plan for this location should have a balanced parking to room ratio. As it stands this is atrain wreck waiting to happen if implemented. Thank you, Michele Boyd
