Governor’s Housing Task Force Meeting Announcement
Dear Stakeholders,
The next full meeting of the Governor’s Housing Task Force is scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Themeeting will be in room 111 of the DEQ Metcalf building located at 1520 E 6th Ave. in Helena or on Zoom (link below). The finalagenda will be posted to the Housing Task Force webpage prior to the meeting. The purpose of this meeting will be to review anddiscuss outcomes from the two previous Study Group meetings and to establish expectations for Assignment #4.
Reminder: The Successes Study Group will meet on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and the Challenges Study Groupwill meet on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Both meetings will be hosted online only (see Zoom links below).Final agendas will be posted to the Housing Task Force webpage prior to the meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to find the rootcauses of obstacles facing housing in Montana such as regulations, planning, construction, and/or financial challenges. With assistancefrom invited speakers and additional resources, the study groups will identify potential solutions that may serve as recommendationexamples.
