Public Review and Comment Opportunity:Proposed Amendments to the Housing ChoiceVoucher FY2025 Administrative Plan
This plan is available for public comment until April 1, 2024 and will not go
into effect until July 1, 2024.
Please refer to the Administrative Plan proposed changes.
A virtual public hearing will occur on March 12, 2024 at 1 p.m. to discuss
changes regarding revisions to the Housing Choice Voucher Administrative
Plan.

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) assistance program is funded by the
federal government and administered by the Montana Housing Division
within the Montana Department of Commerce (Commerce) for the
jurisdiction of the State of Montana. Commerce's Montana Housing
Division's Rental Assistance Bureau is the Montana State Public Housing
Authority, administering the HUD Housing Choice Voucher Program and the
Moderate Rehabilitation Program to provide affordable, safe housing to low-
income Montana families.
Commerce will make reasonable accommodations for persons with
disabilities or persons with limited English proficiency who wish to
participate in this process and need an alternative accessible format for
presentation materials or translation services. If you require an
accommodation, please contact Commerce at Housing@mt.gov no later
than 5 p.m. on March 5, 2024.
