Montana Community Reinvestment PlanningGrants Application Deadline Extended The Montana Community Reinvestment (MCR) Planning Grant application deadline has been extended through midnight on Friday, March 22, 2024. The Montana Department of Commerce's (Commerce) administration of this grant opportunity was authorized by the 2023 Legislature's passage of House Bill 819. This program allocates funds for Commerce's distribution to provide planning grants to local and tribal governments for planning and zoning reforms to increase Montana's affordable housing supply.
