We are writing to express our concern over the recent approval of Site Plan #22047 in the Sundance Springs Subdivision. The Director of
Community Development erred in approving the plan. The City has the obligation and authority to protect our open spaces, our trail
systems, and our neighborhoods from incompatible development.
While Brad and I do not live in this subdivision, we live very close to it, and my husband and I have been walking the public trails and
sidewalks regularly in the neighborhood for over twenty years. As the neighborhood has grown, we've gotten to know many of the
residents as friends and neighbors.
As residents of Bozeman since 1978, we have grown more and more upset with the changes made in many areas of the valley as
compared with the original guidelines for use of land in particular neighborhoods. This new site plan is one such reversal of original
plans.
Our neighbors in Sundance Springs have good reason to be upset that the original plans and guidelines are being superceded by the new
plans.
Please respect these neighbors by overturning the approval of Site Plan #22047!
