(Below) Obviously, the rescheduled hearing in on February 27th NOT January 27th as I mistakenly wrote. Please bring the 2022 and 2023 comments into the Commissioners’ Public Comments file for this hearing! Thanks Jeff King Begin forwarded message: From: Jeffrey King <jlkingmail@aol.com>Subject: Site Plan 22047 Date: February 21, 2024 at 7:56:44 PM MST To: agenda@bozeman.net TO: Bozeman City Commissioners and Bozeman City Clerk The original appeal hearing on Site Plan 22047 was scheduled for September 26,2023. Prior to that date, over a hundred concerned citizens sent testimony to the Commission viathis portal. That September 25th meeting was postponed twice, once to allow the parties to engage in mediation and a second time to allow the Commission to re-seat members after the election and other changes. Somewhere there is a file with all of those 2023 submissions for the Site Plan Hearing. I request that someone in the Clerk’s office or on the Commission transfer those letters into the current file ofletters and testimony that is being assembled for the re-scheduled hearing on January 27th. The comments made by folks who submitted for the September meeting are stillaccurate and timely. It seems grossly unfair to file them away in a “2023” file someplace whenthose who wrote those letters did so within the obligatory timeframe for the Septembermeeting. Moving and re-scheduling the Commission’s September hearing on this matter should notexpunge the efforts citizens took to express their opinions and concerns pertaining to the hearing. Please move all comments, letters and testimony into the file that is currentlybeing assembled for the meeting that will finally be held next week. That file is available to the publicand it should contain ALL OF THE COMMENTS the public have made regarding this appeal. For benefit of the new Commissioners and as well for the veterans, there is yetanother file from 2022 that has letters and comments that were made at the time the initial application was submitted forPlanning review. More than a hundred comments are in a file that was likely assembled in 2022. Would it bepossible to make those letters available to the Commissioners prior to the rescheduled Appeal hearingnext week? I would like to hear back from the Clerk on this matter, this week if possible. Thankyou for your efforts to make public comments readily available to the City Commissionersand easily viewable to the pubic in one online file .
