NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING FOR A
ZONING AMENDMENT APPLICATION
This application is evaluated against the municipal zoning criteria of state law, 76-2-304, Montana Code
Annotated, which are contained in Section 38.100.040.C of the municipal code. Approval or conditional
approval may be granted if the decision maker determines all criteria are met. The request to change
zoning to B-2M is in conjunction with a requested amendment to the future land use map of the Bozeman
Community Plan 2020, application 23205. A decision on the future land use map amendment must occur
prior to a decision on the zoning change. The request to change zoning to R-4 and PLI does not require an
amendment to the future land use map since they are implementing zone districts of Urban Neighborhood.
The public may comment orally at the public hearing or in writing at or prior to the public hearing
regarding compliance of this application with the required criteria. Comments should identify the specific
criteria of concern along with facts in support of the comment. During the notice period the City will
continue review for compliance with applicable regulations.
