6. PROTECTION IS REQUIRED TO AVOID DIRECT
CONTACT WITH DISSIMILAR MATERIALS THAT
COULD CAUSE GALVANIC CORROSION
(ELECTROLYSIS).
7. INSTALL ALL FLASHING WITH PROVISIONS FOR
DIFFERENTIAL AND THERMAL MOVEMENT
BETWEEN ADJACENT MATERIALS, AS REQUIRED
BY BUILDING CONDITIONS.
8. CONTERFLASHINGS SHALL LAP BASE FLASHINGS
AT LEAST 4 INCHES MINIMUM AND LAP ALL
VERTICAL JOINTS.
9. REFER TO DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN THE
ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL MANUAL,
SMACNA.
10. PROVIDE ROOF/ATTIC VENTING PER ALL
APPLICABLE LOCAL BUILDING CODES. MINIMUM
NET FREE VENTILATION AREA SHALL BE 1/150 OF
THE AREA VENTED SPACE.
11. ALL DIMENSIONS OF SLOPED ROOFS ARE
HORIZONTAL DIMENSIONS. ROOF OVERHANG
DIMENSIONS ARE FROM EXTERIOR FAC OF STUD
WALL UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
12. SEE MECHANICAL FOR ROOF PLUMBING
PENETRATIONS AND EQUIPMENT CURB.
13. ALL PENETRATIONS TO BE FLASHED PER ROOF
MFGR'S APPROVED DETAILS.
14. PROVIDE CRICKETS WHERE EVER NECCESSARY
FOR PROPER DRAINAGE.
15. TRUSS MFGR TO COORDINATE ALL MECH
PENETRATIONS INTO TRUSS DESIGN.
16. FLASH MECH EQUIP. CURBS PER ROOF MFGR'S
APPROVED DETAILS. SEE MECH FOR CURB DETAIL
CRICKETING TYPICAL AT ALL ROOF CURBS.
17. SEE ELECTRICAL FOR LOCATIONS OF HEAT
TAPE IN GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS. HEAT
TAPE TO EXTEND A MINIMUM OF 4' 0" INTO
SUBGRADE DRAIN PIPE.
