PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half single-family residence has a rectangular plan
with a partially enclosed front porch under the main gable roof. The facade
is symmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with 2/2 double-hung
windows , fixed windows and a square bay window on the east side. The frame
construction is finished in clapboard stained a cedar color and sits on a
cut stone (rusticated ashlar) foundation. The gable-combination roof is
covered with wood shakes that appear to be laid over the pre-existing roofing
and features dormers with shed roofs on each side. The axis of the roof is
perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a shed.
