Site Visitor Name: Kyle Lode Site Visitor Email: kylelode@gmail.com I seen on the news your plans to use Canyon Ferry for water. what if instead, you pump water out of the Gallatin and Yellowstone River and store it in a side canyon near Bozeman(possibly even using Hyalite to store some). This way you would not be daming a main canyon and all its problems. You would be reducing flooding in the spring. You could run the pumps off of renewable wind power, which would make it very economical, and If you installed generators downstream from the dam, you could generate even more power to pump more water back UP to the reservoir. It would be interesting if you engineered a pumped storage hydro system into it, that would definitely make it a money making system. Kyle L.
