To the Commissioners, As you begin this new year I am hoping you will seriously engage the
residents of Bozeman in how we all envision our town. I have actually read the proposedUDC and the current NCOD and have some concerns. I am alarmed at how quickly our
neighborhoods can be transformed from places where we know and help each other tosoulless multi-units that sit empty most of the time. Allowing a buyer to wait 2 years and a
day to scrape an existing home certainly does nothing for our historical character. Characterof our neighborhoods is important. Please work closely with the Historic Preservation Board
to keep what we love about Bozeman intact. Keep zoning as it is. Please, no up-zoning! How many units are being built on 19th? Thousands? Those will actually be lived in while
the luxury condos that replace homes will be empty which does nothing for workingresidents. Nothing. And how hot will our summers be if they cut down all the trees? Shade
trees do cool a lot of hot air. Please work with the residents who love Bozeman. Thanks,Mary Lou Osman
