State-Local Infrastructure Partnership ActTown Hall Set for January 23
This third town hall, hosted by the Montana Department of Commerce
(Commerce) and Montana League of Cities and Towns, is an opportunity for
representatives from cities and towns to learn about Commerce’s
administration of the grant opportunity authorized by the 2023 passage of
House Bill 355, the State-Local Infrastructure Partnership Act of 2023
(SLIPA).
This program allocates funds for Commerce’s distribution to eligible
incorporated cities and towns. Grant recipients may use these funds
together with a required local cash match to maintain or repair certain types
of existing local government infrastructure.
The virtual town hall will be held January 23 at 11 a.m. via Zoom. To

Participants will learn about the requirements and deadlines applicants must
meet to receive funding. Application guidelines and the SLIPA application
can be found on Commerce’s website. A recording of this town hall will also
be available on Commerce's website under the "Trainings and Recordings"
tab.
