Tara,
Excuse my ignorance but what project is this for? It’s not clear in the provided exhibit or in the
email body what this needs to be associated with. Thank you in advance and yes, happy Friday!

Hello all and happy Friday (Saturday Eve)!
Please see below to reference the Conservation District's determination of the watercourse on the site as a "natural ditch" - I am
hoping that this will alleviate the necessity to apply for a Variance (requiring a 20 foot minimum setback instead of a larger one
from the high water mark), but verification of my interpretation of the code would be much appreciated? Sorry to be a bother.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Tara! I've heard back from the inspection team. This channel picks up natural stream water, so the board has
declared it jurisdictional. Official designation by WRS is a “natural carrier used as ditch”. +-+-+
Hope this helps! Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Tara,
Here is the pin drop link: https://goo.gl/maps/ZBvX9GBvHS7gPmAN6
Also attached is the site plan from a month ago or so. Not much has really changed from the irrigation ditch
perspective.
Talk to you soon,

Hey there! Just letting you all know - I was speaking with Bill. I figured out the previous attached document which indicates
that the high water mark is where the setback from the watercourse begins. We were discussing such things as all code
references needing to be updated to 2021 Building Code requirements (which were adopted 8/2/22) . There are delineations
that exist, it seems folks were able to build much closer than 50' to the ditch, and it depends on how the City is determining
the designation of the "watercourse". I need a minute to sort it, but my determination was that the requirement was only for a
30' setback. I will get back to you.
