Subject: Ferguson Farm II Development – Huffine Lane/N-50, Bozeman (65.71.478.01) Mr. Staub: The Montana Department of Transportation staff have reviewed the information you provided by email on November 23, 2020 regarding the subject project. We agree to allow installation of the proposed Brookfield Avenue, as a right-in, right-out approach to Huffine Lane directly across from Teakwood Drive under the condition that the developer completes MDT permit review and approval process. Because the approach will be restricted to right-in, right-out movements, raised median, lighting and signage must be installed. An Approach Application and Permit, Environmental Checklist, and design plans for all proposed improvements must be reviewed and approved by MDT prior to any work taking place within MDT right-of-way. Please contact Lee Alt, the Butte District Traffic Engineer, at 406-494-9611 to initiate the permitting process. Also, please confirm that the proposed trail and parking areas are located outside of MDT right-of-way. Feel free to contact me at (406) 444-4262 if you have any questions or if you need additional information. Sincerely,
Jason Hughey, Planner
