Accept Gallatin Valley Sensitive Lands Protection Plan
I support the Gallatin Valley Sensitive Lands Protection Plan and urge the city commission to accept
Resolution 5559. I have lived for over 20 years in rural Gallatin Gateway and now live in Bozeman.
The rapid growth and development in the city and now in the county exemplify the need for
identifying sensitive lands for agriculture, clean water, and wildlife as has been done in this Plan. I
participated in an open house opportunity for this Plan and contributed comments online. This Plan
is needed for use by various agencies, nonprofit organizations, landowners, community
organizations, and more to protect sensitive lands and resources and improve identification of less
sensitive areas that would be more suitable for development. I urge city commissioners to accept
Resolution 5559.
