I would like to acknowledge the city team and the importance of their work in developing theBelonging in Bozeman Plan. The plan is extremely relevant given the challenges that the cityfaces. The focus on safety in our community for all, and that everyone should have theopportunity to work and live without discrimination is a fundamental part of the plan. The planis a good starting point for livable wages, access to health care. and safe housing, especiallyfor those working and filling jobs that today are not filled or are under staffed in Bozeman. Collaboration is essential as the city moves forward to finalize and implement the plan; a planthat requires diverse teams, organizations and sources of funding to achieve results. And allwho support and are working for the success of Belonging In Bozeman must be given theopportunity to do with their safety assured.
