I have recently started to engage in this project as a resident of local interest... I would like to state why I
believe this project should still keep moving forward.
19th street is getting very congested for a North South corridor
Cottonwood is about 2 miles away
Ferguson has two major parkes on it and pedestrian car traffic encounters are frequent
Hunters Way has become a pathway to bypass 19th... I lived on Hunters Way for about a
year and I was amazed how much traffic passes down that residential street.
The fire station was constructed on Davis with the plans to connect Fowler to Huffine
Though nobody wants a major street in their area, this connection has been planned for years and years.
The few who are fighting this now are punishing the community who need better transportation access
and causing safety issues in other residential areas.
