I encourage the commission to support the creation of a public housing authority. When looking at the question of
whether there is unsafe and unsanitary housing, I think of all the urban campers that have no place or way to go to
the bathroom, and how this lack of housing creates dangerous winter living conditions. Without a doubt, there is a
lack of safe and sanitary housing in Bozeman. Creating a housing authority is necessary for establishing long-term
affordable housing in Bozeman. This is the best option put forth and must be done to ensure social and economic
equity.
