Good morning. I am so proud of Bozeman for starting to address the underlying ugliness in
our community: the treatment of those less fortunate or different. The values expressed in this document are in line with my values as a Quaker. Having
founded Bienvenidos 4 years ago, I especially appreciate the strides being made regarding theinclusion of LEP individuals such as: meaningful language access, long term affordable
housing access, and resource coordination across agencies. One thing I did not see was supportfor post secondary training and education for LEP youth graduating from highschool. They
tend to be trapped in construction and service jobs. I may have missed it but under Goal 4 when it talks about the Montana Immigrant Compact, I
did not see a link. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Now that Bienvenidos has a fulltime executive director, we have the capacity to be a part of moving all these initiatives
forward, Tina Visscher, Bienvenidos interim director
