Dear Recreation Partner, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is updating the Montana Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) for 2025-2029. The objective of the SCORP is to identify Montana’s outdoor recreation trends, needs and issues of statewide importance. It will also provide guidance to coordinate and enhance Montana’s outdoor recreation and tourism communities over the next five years. As part of the SCORP, we are inviting Montana’s recreation providers to complete a survey about outdoor recreation facilities and resources, and we want to hear from Bozeman. The information your agency provides will help determine the quantity and quality of outdoor recreation facilities and resources around the state, as well as identify major outdoor recreation trends, growing demands, and areas of need. The survey results will help establish priorities for the Land & Water Conservation Fund stateside grant program for the next five years. This survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete. By participating in the online survey, you provide consent and acknowledge your rights as a voluntary research participant. Click link to access survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MTRec. Please complete by January 10, 2024. For questions about the survey or the Montana SCORP please contact: Amber Lopatine, SCORP Coordinator, amber.lopatine@mt.gov, (406) 444-3364 Thank you for your time and energy toward making Montana the LAST BEST place for outdoor recreation!
