I ask you to create a housing authority for Bozeman. We are not providing opportunities for affordable housing at
this point. The houses that are offered as affordable are still way beyond the finances for a great many of the
essential workers in Bozeman, as are many of the apartments. Our city government should be offering more than
incentives to developers who are already making huge financial gains. Please consider carefully what a housing
authority would offer in our goal to help our teachers, nurses, small businesses as well as the natives who have spent
their lives trying to make their hometown a place where they and their children can continue to live. Their oversight
would also insure quality construction.
