I am a mental health therapist and I am for the establishment of a PHA because I believe it will be good for the
overall health of our community. As reference I cite an article by Katherine Fallon of the Urban Institute, How Does
Housing Stability Affect Mental Health? "For people with less-severe mental health challenges, lack of stable housing
can exacerbate symptoms. A study analyzing the impact of long-term housing affordability stress—meaning high
housing cost burden—found that both persistent and intermittent exposure to housing affordability stress
negatively affected self-reported mental health related to social, emotional, and mental functioning" Having a PHA
will help this city create stable regulated housing where the community has involvement and oversight ,which I
believe and the research backs, will improve the well being of all in Bozeman. Thank you. For the whole article visit
