I vehemently oppose establishing a public housing authority because our housing crisis is already caused—in large
part—by undue statutes regulations that are hampering and crippling private citizens and developers, who would
love nothing more than to solve the housing issues. Subdivision regulations at the county level—and similar
governmental involvements—are preventing the sale of smaller parcels to willing buyers. Adding more red tape,
regulations, and oversight will only make matters worse. Anyone who disagrees should educate themselves with
books such as: The Housing Boom and Bust written by Thomas Sowell—a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution.
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Please join me in opposing the establishment of a
public housing authority, for the sake of the community we all care for and those who live within it. Thank you
