Dear Mayor Andrus, Deputy Mayor Cunningham, Commissioner Coburn, and Commissioner
Madgic,
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Angie Kociolek to fill the CityCommission vacancy. I have gotten to know Angie well over the past 20+ years in both a
personal and professional capacity and believe she would be a huge asset to the Commission. She has made many positive contributions to Bozeman over the years, as demonstrated in her
application letter, from designing t-shirts for the Bridger Ridge Run, to engaging inHawthorme Elementary School activities to chairing the Urban Parks & Forestry Board. On a
personal level, I have observed Angies' hard work to recover from knee surgery and go on tocomplete many Bridger Ridge Runs and other challenging events. She is driven to take on new
challenges- and has the work ethic to accomplish difficult goals - such as her career changefrom ecologist/researcher to LIcensed Acupuncturist focused on wellness. Angie is a person of
high integrity that is part of the fabric that makes Bozeman a great place to live. Her livedexperience as an engaged citizen, friend and parent in the Bozeman community and resident of
the northeast neighborhood over many years has given her an in-depth understanding of theissues our community is facing. She has the passion, experience and dedication to accomplish
difficult goals. I believe Angie is well qualified to work constructively with the Commissionto find creative solutions to many of the challenges our community faces. Thank you for your
good work. I encourage you to invite Angie Kociolek to join you on the commission movingforward.
Sincerely, Rebecca Gleason
