Dear Mayor Andrus, Deputy Mayor Cunningham, Commissioner Coburn, and Commissioner Madgic, I am writing in support of Angela (Angie) Kociolek as you consider filling the vacancy left byCommissioner I-Ho Pomeroy's unfortunate need to step down from her duties. I first met Angie as she took on the task of organizer and compiler of data (and ultimately authorship) in conducting several years of avian surveys at what has now become theIndreland Audubon Wetland Preserve. Angie was also an active participant of the Northeast Neighborhood Association during the years I served NENA President. Her commitment with NENA continued as a leader after myinvolvement and until present. As you know, she has well demonstrated her dedication and commitment to the entire City in her service on, and as Chair of, the Recreation & Parks (now UrbanParks & Forestry Board) for the past several years. I have long admired Angie's dedication to the roles she assumes and matters she determines need to be addressed. She is one of the most conscientious parents I have ever observed. Shemakes staunch commitments and sees them through. If selected to fill I-Ho's position, I am certain she would bring a perspective to the Commission that would well fit Bozeman andmake I-Ho proud. Sincerely, Chris Nixon Former Bozeman Resident of719 N Wallace Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715406-544-4901
