Douglas is the right candidate, at this crucial time, for our City Commission.
I've known Douglas for decades--and I have taught side-by-side with Douglas both here in
Bozeman and overseas. The truth is when I was in the classroom with him or outside onfieldtrips with him, I was the one learning the most from him.
But for all his teaching gifts, Douglas's gravitational pull flows from his combination of being
a practiced listener, strong communicator, and a skilled finisher. He is not shy about theseabilities; he has showcased them while serving as a School Board trustee since 2015.
I believe we will need his bow-tied knack for problem-solving and consensus-building to get
through the many multiplicative threats to our community--now and those just around thecurve.
Though the Bozeman subreddit calls this Bozeman's "worst job," please support Douglas's bid
for City Commission.--
