Honorable Mayor Andrus, Deputy Mayor Cunningham, Commissioner Coburn, and
Commissioner Madgic:
I understand that twenty candidates have thrown their hat into the ring to fill the vacancy thatI-Ho Pomeroy has sadly left on the City Commission. It will be a challenge for you to choosejust one.
I write you to express my support for Jason Delmue.
As a long-time volunteer with the Northeast Neighborhood Association, I have workedalongside Jason for several years as part of the “VisionNE" subcommittee. Our focus has beenon preserving neighborhood character in the face of rapid development, in part by advocatingfor changes in the unified development code as they pertain to the NEHMU area.
Jason has been a wealth of knowledge for our neighborhood. He has studied the code enoughto understand its larger intentions as well as its details. He has attended countless CityCommission meetings and currently is serving on the Community Development Board. Hepreviously served on the Bicycle Advisory Board.
All to say, Jason has proven himself to be an engaged, thoughtful participant in our City andwould make a very good Commissioner.
