Dear City Commissioners,
I am writing this email in support of my friend and colleague Douglas Fischer. I first met
Douglas when he was joining the Bozeman school board and I was leaving. Before I left, weserved together on the Second HIgh School Committee; which was a large and highly
impactful community consensus process and decision.
During that time, I found Douglas to be highly intelligent, insightful and collaborative. He hasan innate ability and dedication to work through and process data and ideas, without being
domineering or aggressive. He is fact based. But, he also understands that many of ourcommunities' hard decisions need to include the heart as well.
Douglas is a good listener, strong processor of disparate ideas, and has the overall best
interests of our community and its citizens at heart.
He is fair and decisive and process oriented.
After his years of committed service to the Bozeman School District and our community, Ican't think of a stronger candidate for Bozeman commissioner. I have full trust and faith in his
intelligence, fairness and ability to make decisions on behalf of the constituents of our city.
