Dear Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my strong support for Mark Egge to be appointed in the current vacant seat on the Bozeman City Commission. Mark Egge is one of the most stand-up citizens I have ever met in any town I have lived in. Heis utterly committed to the betterment of our community. He is committed to listening, learning, discussing, and developing creative solutions. He is sharp, discerning, proactive, andfun to work with. He is open to discussion and patient to give his opinion - he is strong in his perspective, but willing to change his mind when presented with evidence. He is empatheticand tries to understand the viewpoints of those he does not spend time with, is not related to, does not depend on, is not involved in business with, and shares little in common with. Secondly, perhaps less importantly, Mark and I share a common view of a sustainable futurefor Bozeman that is not based on mandates, restricting freedom, or half-baked gambles that require a PhD to understand the basic idea of. We both strongly support bicycle, foot, andpublic modes of transportation, as safely and conveniently as possible. Such modes benefit everyone involved and have done so for centuries, all across the world - they are healthy, happy, and make the planet a better place to live. Amazingly, supporting development plans that enable these modes of transportation do not sacrifice anything, they only make Bozemanand Montana better communities. Thank you for considering my opinion. Sincerely, Nick Stadie 601 S Church AveBozeman, MT 59715
