Dear Mr. Carty,
Thank you for your kind note.. I am going to send it to our Library Board Chair, Stew Mohr, right now
so that he can share it with the entire Board. They will appreciate your message of support and
thanks very much.
It’s a relief to keep the Library grounds intact and as a beautiful space for everyone. We appreciate
your support of the Library! Thank you!
Susan

Subject: Thank you, LBOT, for voting not to pursue the parking lot/parking structure MOU
proposed by Bozeman Hotel MM LLC/Left Lane Development
Ms. Gregory:
I am writing to thank the Bozeman Public Library's Board of Trustees (LBOT) for voting
unanimously (5 - 0) to not pursue the parking lot/parking structure memorandum of
understanding (MOU) proposed by Bozeman Hotel MM-LLC/Left Lane Development at the
Nov 15, 2023, meeting of the LBOT.
Also, my thanks to you and Dr. Stew Mohr (LBOT Chair) for your timely answers to my
premeeting questions about the process to be followed during the Nov 15 LBOT meeting.
Combined, those answers helped Bozeman residents keep their written public comments
on-topic before the meeting and keep their oral public comments on-topic during the
meeting.
Finally, I would appreciate your forwarding this email to Dr. Mohr and the four other LBOT
members so that they will know how much Bozeman residents appreciated their individual
perspectives on the proposed MOU and how much Bozeman residents appreciated their
listening and patience during the Nov 15 LBOT meeting.
Sincerely,
Daniel Carty
