I urge you to appoint John Meyer for the empty commission seat. John received 32% of the vote for mayor in the
recent election—a total of 3,013 or only 10% less than the winner in’s three candidate race. The voters voted
overwhelmingly for the causes that both John and Joey supported. Another way of putting it is that 74% of the
voters voted to put a hold on development and find a way to make housing affordable now, but they could only vote
for one of the two candidates who advocated that. The obvious solution is to put the other candidate in the empty
seat of the Commission. It would be defying the will of Bozeman citizens to appoint anyone else.
