Seymour Cc:Agenda; Stewart Mohr Subject:RE: [EXTERNAL]Development of Public Property Date:Wednesday, November 15, 2023 2:46:00 PM Hi, Mr. Seymour, I am sending your email to our Library Board Chair, Stew Mohr, right now. I’m also sending your email to the City Clerk so it can be documented as one of the many public comments on the situation. The Library Board wanted the developers to present publicly at a Library Board meeting in the interest of transparency and observing the public meeting rules we operate under. I am sure that you recognize that hearing the developers out in a public meeting doesn’t necessarily imply agreement or interest in the proposal. Your comments are important and will be helpful to the Board. Thank you very much for your support of the Library! We appreciate it. Susan Susan F. Dear Library Director Susan Gregory - I am writing to you as I am unable to find any contactinformation for the Library Board of Trustees. Please forward my comment to them. It isunconscionable that the Trustees are considering yet another City of Bozeman give away toDevelopers. The Bozeman Hotel MM/LLC and Left Lane Development forthe Construction of a Parking Facility at the Bozeman Public Library MOU is not in thecitizens or Library's interests. Do not facilitate private development which will only prohibitcitizen use of the Library. It is your fiduciary responsibility to protect the Library and it'sproperty for the long term benefit of the citizens of the City of Bozeman, not to try and make aquick buck by selling out to developers.
