Dear Library Foundation Trustees,
I've read enough of the proposal to know that I don't believe this is an appropriate use
of library property.
I am honestly appalled by this proposal especially given that it is for a money-making
hotel and privately controlled garden space and parking garage on public property. It
seems the complete antithesis of how library property should be utilized.
Also, with the lack of affordable and accessible (in ADA terms) housing in Bozeman,
I'd be more inclined to support a project on library land if it addressed those issues.
I kindly urge you to deny this proposal. It does not serve our community and, in fact,
in my opinion, would serve to stymie the growth of the amazing resource that is our
public library.
