Dear Library Board Members,
I would like to voice my opposition to the proposal to lease part of the city-owned library
parking lot to a private developer, which appears to bring with it restrictions on future growthof the library.
Land for the library and parking lot library, in this now highly sought-after location in
downtown Bozeman, was purchased through a bond passed by city residents. The library andits property must be preserved for patrons today and for an increasing number of patrons in the
future.
I encourage the Board to vote against this proposal and to preserve the library and its propertyfor current and future civic use.
