To the Bozeman Public Library trustees,
Dear Trustees,
I trust that you will see through the attempt of this developer to take
public land dear to our hearts and the library's heart and say no to the
proposed parking garage. This proposal is very one sided in favor of the
developer.
The library already has plenty of parking. There is no lack of parking for
the businesses nearby. If the proposed development is so large that it
requires a parking garage, it should be relocated on private land that issufficient for its purpose.
The purpose of public land is to serve the public, and cases of using public
land for private development should be vanishingly rare.
