Dear Library Board of Trustees,
As a library patron and a Friends of the Bozeman Public Library board member, I am asking you to vote ‘no’ on the
proposed MOU from Left Lane. Our library is the hub of our community and is funded by the tax-payers. Where
were the developers when the current library area was a Superfund site? No one wanted it then, so the local
community invested in the library, making a clear choice with their votes many years ago. Please do not hamper
the library’s ability to grow for generations to come. We know this project would restrict access to books (among
other vital resources) and reduce the quality of life for local community members. We are all stewards of the
Bozeman Public Library, but you as the Board of Trustees, are its guardians. Please not only vote ‘no’, but do so
decisively to send a message to developers that the library is not for sale. Thank you for your time, consideration,
and service.
Sincerely,
Brittany Eilers
